Painted Amphora no.2
The first out of a series of amphoras inspired by ancient painted vases. This vase combines several textures including mudcrack glaze, unlgazed stoneware and matte underglazes. With this series, we hope to make the viewer question what time period these pieces were made. Were they pulled from the belly of a sunken ship or recently fired in a modern studio?
Perfect as a centerpiece with a bouquet or an everyday piece of art in your entryway or living room.
